Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between JJ Bo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Dogg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Dogg's choice of entrance music: Kickstart My Heart. Ron Dogg is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, JJ Bo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ron Dogg!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dogg tries to clinch
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Bo slips under a jab from Dogg.
Dogg works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Dogg shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Bo avoids a punch combination nicely.
Dogg is looking to clinch.
Dogg throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bo.
Bo blocks a head kick by Dogg.

Dogg shoots in and drives through. Bo sprawls well.
A nice leg kick lands there from Dogg.
Dogg lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bo circles away quickly and effectively.
Dogg throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bo's waist but Bo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dogg off to one side.
Bo moves away from the strike by Dogg.
Dogg pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bo slaps away a takedown attempt from Dogg, before circling back to the center of the mat.
JJ Bo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ron Dogg.
Dogg throws a right hand that Bo ducks under and follows up with a left that Bo also avoids with ease.
Bo looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Dogg throws the kick towards the body but Bo avoids it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Dogg lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Dogg is looking to clinch.
We've been informed that Dogg has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Dogg tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dogg throws out the jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dogg.
Dogg is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bo.
A big left from Dogg misses.
Bo takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Dogg is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dogg, as that shot connected.
Dogg lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Bo circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dogg tries to land a front kick but Bo steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Bo circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Dogg tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Bo wins by KO!

After the fight, JJ Bo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
