The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borovcov gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Pico to score an easy takedown into full guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Pico trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Borovcov looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Borovcov pulls Pico in close to his closed guard and prevents Pico from doing any damage or advancing position.
Borovcov looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Borovcov is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Borovcov in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Pico tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Borovcov!
