Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leonard Briggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iouri Blunderskard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blunderskard comes into a darkened arena with his song building. 'Till I Collapse kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Briggs tries for a takedown but Blunderskard circles away easily
and Blunderskard counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Blunderskard closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Briggs has gone for a leg lock! Blunderskard slips out almost immediately though and dives into Briggs's guard.
Briggs could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Blunderskard has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Titan Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Iouri Blunderskard hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Briggs shoots for a double leg takedown but Blunderskard sprawls well. He's pushed Briggs's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Briggs shoots in and bounces Blunderskard off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Leonard Briggs will probably get the nod.

Briggs shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Blunderskard but Blunderskard pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Blunderskard lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Briggs has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Briggs and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
