Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Sy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Floyd Mayweather (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that John Sy has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily John Sy seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mayweather lands with a nice combination. Sy backs away looking to recover.

Mayweather bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Sy's head backwards.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sy looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Sy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mayweather swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mayweather throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Mayweather throws out a loose jab but Sy uses good head movement to avoid it.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Sy throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Mayweather blocks it with crossed arms.
Sy is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Mayweather is defending well for now.

and Mayweather makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Floyd Mayweather showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
