Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vaimaa Fatu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hug Raction (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fatu comes to the cage accompanied by So Close Now. Vaimaa Fatu had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Vaimaa Fatu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

24 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hug Raction!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raction uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fatu.
Fatu throws a jab but it's blocked by Raction.
Fatu is looking to chop away at Raction's legs.
Fatu stalks Raction and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Raction's face. Raction staggers backwards, shaken.
Fatu with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Raction avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Fatu keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Raction.
Raction takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Fatu cracks Raction with a right hand to the side of the head.
Fatu stuns Raction with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

It looks like Vaimaa Fatu has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Raction takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Raction throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
We've been hearing reports that Fatu has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Fatu uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Raction.
Raction has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Fatu feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Fatu has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Raction finds it's way round the side to connect with Fatu's head.

That was a close round but I would say that Vaimaa Fatu will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Raction displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fatu throws out the jab.
Raction's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Fatu connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Raction scrambles back to his feet.

and Raction counters with a stiff right hand.
Fatu bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Raction tries to bench press Fatu off him but Fatu keeps the position.
Raction regains half guard, as Fatu was trying to land strikes.
Fatu stops Raction from getting back to his feet.

Fatu wants to advance to full mount but Raction doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Raction avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Raction preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Fatu is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Fatu loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Fatu is squirming around, avoiding Raction's attempts to control the action.

Raction might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Fatu haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Raction connects with a good right hand that stumbles Fatu. Fatu circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Raction uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Raction throws a series of punches but Fatu avoids them all with ease.
Hug Raction seems to be getting the better of the standup.

No joy there for Fatu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fatu changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Fatu has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Raction.

Raction throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Fatu looks to land a right hand but Raction moved out of range.
Vaimaa Fatu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fatu lands with a big left! Raction is wobbled badly! Fatu comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Raction to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Vaimaa Fatu!
A relieved looking Vaimaa Fatu thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
