Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Abraham Hubbard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ayarauufone Balpal!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, John Mangel and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balpal throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Balpal changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hubbard looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Balpal cracks Hubbard with an elbow. That is naaassty.


It looks like Abraham Hubbard has been cut.
Hubbard seems a little lost for a moment, as Balpal dominates the positioning.
Hubbard tries to buck Balpal off but Balpal is having none of it.
Balpal happy to just control the position for now.
Balpal working away.
Hubbard tries to improve position but can't.
Hubbard wants to control but Balpal postures up.
Hubbard is looking to regain half guard here but Balpal keeps moving and retains side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Balpal tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Balpal has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Hubbard struggling a bit here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hubbard is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Hubbard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Balpal tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Balpal working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Balpal is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hubbard is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Balpal working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Balpal decides to stand up, so the ref orders Hubbard to his feet.
Balpal gets in close and tags Hubbard with a short punch that almost sends Hubbard to the mat! Oh Hubbard is in big trouble! He turns his back on Balpal, trying to create some distance but Balpal rushes him, striking wildly and Hubbard goes down! The referee tackles Balpal into the cage to end the fight! Balpal is one violent man!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ayarauufone Balpal!
