The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Syroviy misses the shot to the body.
Avreli swings for the body but Syroviy moves out of range.
Avreli throws a shot from downtown. Syroviy moves away and avoids it.
A big right from Avreli misses.
Avreli throws a looping overhand right but Syroviy ducks down to avoid it.
Avreli shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Syroviy napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Syroviy tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Avreli wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Syroviy is rocked!
Avreli wants to control but Syroviy is keeping him busy.
Syroviy is still in real trouble! Can Avreli finish him?
Avreli lands a strong strike to the head of Syroviy. That's dazed him! Avreli looking to finish here. Syroviy is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Avreli lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mark Avreli!
