The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogg misses with a double jab.
Nogg avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
O Palmeiras shoots in and drives through. Nogg sprawls well.

Nogg closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. O Palmeiras quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Nogg moves into full mount! O Palmeiras won't be happy about that!
Nogg lands a big shot there that rocks O Palmeiras but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Nogg has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of O Palmeiras's face.
O Palmeiras is in a horrible position here. Nogg smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Nogg tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Nogg trying to control but O Palmeiras is having none of it.
O Palmeiras is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Rape Academy, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Nogg can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as O Palmeiras is looking to escape.

Nogg takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Nogg is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. O Palmeiras can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
O Palmeiras is squirming around, avoiding Nogg's attempts to control the action.
Nogg might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control O Palmeiras haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Nogg lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nogg loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have O Palmeiras scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Nogg land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Nogg stands and salutes the crowd.
