Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rick Mcintosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Coors Light (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rick Mcintosh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Coors Light!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcintosh goes for a double leg but Light avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Light continues to drive forward.

Light drags the fight down to the ground.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Light controlling the position.
Light told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Light has a closed guard, preventing Mcintosh from standing up.
Mcintosh stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Light swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mcintosh trying to control but Light is working from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.

We're going to have a standup here because Rick Mcintosh wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mcintosh is defended easily by Light.
Coors Light seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Light throws a head kick but Mcintosh moves out of range.

Light bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Light trying to control the position but Mcintosh is working away.
Mcintosh knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Light on the ground.
Light scoring with punches and elbows.
Mcintosh is letting Light control him for a moment.
Mcintosh tries to improve position but can't.

Light thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Mcintosh tries to bench press Light off him but Light keeps the position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Light trying to control the action but Mcintosh is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mcintosh is looking to regain half guard here but Light keeps moving and retains side control.
Light tries to advance to mount but Mcintosh denies him.
Light is looking to take a break and control but Mcintosh is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Light wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mcintosh, who protects the arm well.
Light wants to control but Mcintosh is keeping him busy.

Light is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mcintosh is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Light decides to stand up, so the ref orders Mcintosh to his feet.
Mcintosh shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Light but Light pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rick Mcintosh. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Light falls off balance throwing a combination

and Mcintosh moves into the clinch.
Mcintosh is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Light has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Mcintosh is trying to keep an underhook but Light manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Light is trying to work for a kimura but Mcintosh is defending well.

Light seems to be looking for submissions.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mcintosh wants to improve his position but Light is controlling well.
Mcintosh wants to control but Light is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Light lands a nice short elbow.
Mcintosh wants to get back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Light throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Light is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Mcintosh is trying to control but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Coors Light dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!



Light looking to score a takedown here. Mcintosh is defending well but Light drives through and ends up in Mcintosh's guard.
Mcintosh utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Light content to stall in guard here.

Light throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mcintosh works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Mcintosh working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Light.
Light postures up in Mcintosh's guard and throws a big left but Mcintosh blocks it.
Mcintosh trying to keep a closed guard but Light is proving a slippery customer.

Mcintosh is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Light is pushing down on Mcintosh's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mcintosh is fighting to maintain full guard but Light has managed to sneak the leg through.
Light drops an elbow to the side of Mcintosh's head.
Light is controlling the pace.
Light has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Mcintosh trying to control from the bottom.
Light uses his free foot to push down on Mcintosh's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mcintosh.
Mcintosh tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Light landing strikes from the mount and Mcintosh is in trouble!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Mcintosh is bucking up trying to escape but Light cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Light pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Light tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Light jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Mcintosh manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Light is chipping away with strikes.
Mcintosh on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Mcintosh is trying to get back to half guard.
Light cracks Mcintosh with a big right hand but Mcintosh just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Light wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mcintosh, who protects the arm well.

Light wants to control but Mcintosh is keeping him busy.
Light throws an elbow but Mcintosh slips to the side and avoids it well.
Mcintosh tries to improve position but can't.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Light tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Light has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
You can see the frustration on Mcintosh's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Check out the look on Light's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Mcintosh takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Coors Light showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Light misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Light misses with a takedown attempt - Mcintosh sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Rick Mcintosh is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Light takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Light throws a sloppy head kick and Mcintosh moves out of range easily.
Light circles away from the clinch attempt.
Light wants to clinch up but Mcintosh keeps it at a distance.
A head kick misses from Light.
Light leaves Mcintosh with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Light shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mcintosh is trying to defend but Light finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Light takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Light missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Light passes to side control.

Light works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
The strikes coming from Light are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Light decides to stand back up. Light steps back and let's Mcintosh get back to his feet.
Light fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Light looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Light has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Mcintosh is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Light is nestled in close to Mcintosh, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Light moves nicely into side control.
Light advances to full mount.
Mcintosh is bucking up trying to escape but Light cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Mcintosh defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Light.
Mcintosh is wriggling around trying to escape.
Light with shots to the head and body - Mcintosh looks very uncomfortable down there.
Mcintosh reaches up to try and control the position but Light seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Mcintosh rolls and tries to escape and now Light has his back!

Light cracks Mcintosh with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Mcintosh from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Coors Light is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Coors Light comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Light winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
