Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Schwanzus Longus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Kaeo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaeo has chosen On Fire as his entrance music. Dan Kaeo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Longus.
Longus throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Longus throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kaeo checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Longus fails to land with a series of punches.
Longus shoots in looking for a takedown. Kaeo tries to sprawl out of it but Longus keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kaeo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Longus attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Longus is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kaeo.

Schwanzus Longus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kaeo shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kaeo showed some decent athleticism there.

Longus bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kaeo's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Kaeo decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

The fighters circle momentarily. Kaeo darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Longus has his foot on Kaeo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kaeo works his way back into a safe position though.

and Kaeo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Longus's guard.

Longus is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Kaeo landing rabbit punches to the side of Longus's head. Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points.

Well Kaeo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
