Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Filipo Greco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Russel Blake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Greco comes into the arena with Wogalicious blaring out of the sound system. Russel Blake will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Greco scores a takedown into full mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Greco thowing shots but they're missing.
Blake keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Greco looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

It looks like Russel Blake has been cut.
Greco tries to control but Blake wriggling away.

Blake tries to lock up and control but Greco gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Blake can do anything to dispel that myth.
Blake wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Greco.

Greco jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Blake manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Greco has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Blake tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Greco easily slips into full mount!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Greco moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Blake has worked his arm free - good work by Blake!
Blake is looking for a sweep.

Greco content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Greco tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Blake is looking to reverse the position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Greco wants to lay and pray for a moment but Blake keeps working.
Blake looking for a sweep but Greco has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Blake tries to lock up and control but Greco gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Blake tries to land a front kick but Greco steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Blake uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Greco.

Greco gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Blake looking to throw knees to the head but Greco is blocking nicely.
Blake has Greco pressed against the cage.
Blake using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Greco has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Blake misses with a knee strike.

Blake breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Greco ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Blake moves away.
Blake throws a leg kick but Greco moved away.
Greco takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Filipo Greco has been cut.
Blake throws a sloppy head kick and Greco moves out of range easily.

Greco changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Blake looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Blake wants to get back to his feet.

Greco in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Blake is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
