Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Todd Poole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spike Pancadao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spike Pancadao will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Todd Poole! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Spike Pancadao! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pancadao wants to clinch but Poole slips to the side and Poole counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Poole really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Pancadao working hard to break the clinch. Pancadao fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Poole ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Poole no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Poole seems keen to control Pancadao's posture. Poole wants to stand but Pancadao is controlling the position. Pancadao should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Pancadao won't allow Poole to sweep him here. Poole wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Poole wants to improve his position but instead Pancadao has moved into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Poole punching from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round. Pancadao wants to stand but Poole has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Poole keeping control of the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Pancadao doesn't succeed with the takedown and Poole counters with a flying knee. Nice. Pancadao shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Poole counters with a shoot takedown. Pancadao fights it but they end up in guard. Todd Poole has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Spike Pancadao. Pancadao looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Poole has picked Pancadao up and slammed him! Pancadao can't keep hold of the triangle and Poole manages to pass to side control! Poole working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pancadao tries to get back to half guard but can't. Poole landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pancadao struggling a bit here. Pancadao is trying to improve his position. Pancadao takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Pancadao is trying to work for a sweep but Poole has mounted him! Poole will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Poole lands with some strikes. Poole blocks Pancadao's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Poole landing shots from mount. Poole avoids the attempt from Pancadao to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pancadao is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes. Pancadao is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Pancadao tries to get back to half guard but can't. Pancadao has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Poole controls the action. Poole scores with punches to the body. Poole controlling from the back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pancadao can't escape the position.
Poole lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Pancadao hold on?!
Pancadao is trying to break free.
Poole is working the ground and pound. Can Pancadao escape? The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Pancadao trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Poole lands a shot to the head. Pancadao tries to escape the position.

Todd Poole dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Pancadao dives in and grabs Poole's left leg, looking for a takedown. Poole pushes down on Pancadao's head and hops out. Pancadao with a lazy takedown attempt and Poole counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Poole. Poole is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Pancadao can't fight it off and eventually Poole manages to take the fight to the floor. Pancadao looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Pancadao has an active guard here but Poole has managed to pass into half guard.

Pancadao on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Pancadao strikes from the bottom but Poole uses the opportunity to move to side control.
Pancadao manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Poole slips a nice elbow through Pancadao's hands, connecting with Pancadao's forehead. Poole keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Pancadao is looking to improve his position.
Poole stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pancadao looks to clinch and Poole counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Poole gets through Pancadao's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Poole pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Pancadao with a poor takedown and Poole counters by clinching up. Todd Poole has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Spike Pancadao. Poole jumps guard and drags Pancadao to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Poole seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Pancadao postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Poole avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Poole scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Pancadao lands a leg kick that knocks Poole off balance momentarily. The fight stays on the outside here - Pancadao looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Poole keeps the fight on the outside. Pancadao misses with a takedown attempt - Poole sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Pancadao shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Poole holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Pancadao is breathing heavily. Poole breaks the clinch.
Pancadao will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Pancadao tries for a takedown but Poole sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Pancadao with a poor takedown and Poole counters with a single leg into guard. Pancadao didn't expect that. Poole works over Pancadao with some ground and pound from guard. Poole keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Pancadao's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Poole stands and steps away. Pancadao gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Poole shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Poole seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Pancadao flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Todd Poole overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Poole working Pancadao over with strikes. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pancadao misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Pancadao pulls guard. Poole scoring with some ground and pound. Poole throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Pancadao works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Poole has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Poole working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Pancadao's head. Poole's corner is telling him to maintain position. Pancadao trying to control the position.
Pancadao tries to land a sweep but no joy. Pancadao takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Poole landing with the ground and pound. Poole slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Pancadao. Pancadao strikes from the bottom but Poole passes into mount!
Poole with a couple of short strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Poole cracks Pancadao with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Pancadao tries to hold on but Poole pushes him away. Poole looking to control and managing it successfully. Pancadao wants to control but Poole is having none of it. Poole with the ground and pound from mount. Pancadao throwing hammer fists to the chest of Poole. What's that going to do exactly?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Poole avoids the attempt from Pancadao to control. Poole controlling from the full mount. Pancadao wants to control but Poole is having none of it. Pancadao is in all sorts of trouble here.
Poole is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Pancadao can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Poole blocks Pancadao's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Poole pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Poole scoring with strikes but Pancadao is staying in there. Poole landing punches. Poole content just to control the position here. Pancadao throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Poole blocks Pancadao's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Spike Pancadao has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Todd Poole is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. This has been an exciting period of action! Pancadao throwing hammer fists to the chest of Poole. What's that going to do exactly?
And that's the end of the fight! Todd Poole showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Poole, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
