Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gregor Erikson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Epic Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Epic Penn is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Michael Johnstone and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erikson shoots for a double leg takedown but Penn sprawls well. He's pushed Erikson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Erikson tries to clinch but Penn is having none of it.

Erikson shoots in and drives through. Penn sprawls well.

Penn wants to control from the top but Erikson keeps moving.
Penn is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Erikson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Penn gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Penn tries to free his leg and advance position but Erikson is retaining full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Penn slips nicely into half guard.
Penn is looking to take a break and control but Erikson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Epic Penn is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Epic Penn comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Penn has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
