Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Nelson Country!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Stephen Dyer!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dyer swings for the body but Country moves out of range.
Country uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dyer.
Dyer has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Horrible takedown by Country or perhaps it was just good defense by Dyer which made him look bad.
Country fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dyer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dyer scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.


It looks like Nelson Country has been cut.
Country moves forwards but Dyer connects with a nice, crisp jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dyer clinches.
Dyer gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Country.
Dyer lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Country jumps guard but Dyer turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nelson Country. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Country tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dyer smiles and moves away.
We've been told by Country's head coaches at SWF GYM - JUDO 'n' MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Dyer throws a lazy right hand but Country sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Dyer looks to score with a jab to the body but Country is just out of range.
Dyer throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Country tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dyer swivels and escapes.
Country takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Dyer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dyer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Country.
Dyer scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dyer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Country moves away.
Dyer is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Country rather than just go for the knockout.
Good shot there by Dyer.
Dyer lands a nice looking body shot.

Dyer rushes Country and presses him up against the cage.
Dyer scores with a nice hook to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dyer tries to work over Country's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Dyer struggles to land a body shot inside as Country controls his hands.
Dyer misses with the head strike.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Country.
Country tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dyer smiles and moves away.
Dyer fails to land with a series of punches.

Country closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Country looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Country working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Country misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Country is trying to get an arm triangle but Dyer is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Country fails to land a wild elbow strike.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
You can see the frustration on Dyer's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Dyer bucks up and tries to throw Country off but instead Country has got his back!
Country tries to get the hooks in deep but Dyer pushed the leg off.
Country thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
Dyer is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Country off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
Dyer takes a big shot to the side of the head.


It looks like Stephen Dyer has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Country throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Dyer!
Dyer is in bad spot here.

Country working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Dyer is doing well to defend. Country seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Dyer is forced to tap and this one is over!
