The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
King avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

King is nestled in close to Vega, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Vega really doesn't want to stay on the ground with King. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

King seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Vega does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

King is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Vega as he works his way to full guard.

King swings around for an armbar but Vega sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into King's guard.

Oh but King is tightening it up a little... Vega has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Vega reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Vega taps out! Nice BJJ there by King!
