Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terry Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Gongor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas comes to the cage accompanied by Primal Concrete Sledge. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thomas looking to score a takedown here. Gongor is defending well but Thomas drives through and ends up in Gongor's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gongor is looking to stand up but Thomas isn't so interested in that idea.

Thomas is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Gongor to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Gongor shrugs it off.
Gongor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Thomas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gongor felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
