Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryoto Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Banjo Sanjo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machida's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Royal Blood - Out of the Black. Banjo Sanjo has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Banjo Sanjo!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanjo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Machida sprawls well. Machida wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sanjo gets slowly back to his feet.
Machida ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Machida comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Sanjo takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Sanjo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Machida paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Machida lets loose with a powerful body kick. Sanjo will feel that in the morning.
Machida lands a right hook to the body.
Machida fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Machida dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sanjo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Machida is fending him off so far but Sanjo persists. Nope, Machida circles away and we're back to standing.
Sanjo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sanjo takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Nice body punch from Machida.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Machida moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Banjo Sanjo has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Machida comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Machida lands a body shot.
A shot to the liver by Machida. Beautiful body shot.
Sanjo misses with a head kick.
Machida fakes the leg kick and cracks Sanjo in the body.
Machida throws a shot to the body.
Sanjo looks winded!
Machida thows a body kick. Sanjo tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Machida throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sanjo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Machida avoids the head kick by Sanjo.
Sanjo has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Machida jabs at Sanjo's body.
Machida is looking to wear down Sanjo with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Machida fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sanjo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Machida jabs Sanjo to the body, keeping him at a distance.
A head kick from Machida lands but Sanjo takes it in his stride.
Sanjo is rocked!
Machida shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Sanjo takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Machida sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Sanjo bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ryoto Machida!
After winning the bout, Ryoto Machida thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
