Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, David Tennant!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Josh Lebow!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lebow clinches up with Tennant and pushes him back against the cage.
Lebow comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.


It looks like David Tennant has been cut.
A frustrated look appears on Tennant's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Tennant throws a head punch that misses.
Lebow lands an elbow inside that Tennant shrugs off.

Tennant breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Lebow tries to sprawl but Tennant drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Lebow is trying to stand.
Tennant thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lebow's head.
Lebow keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Tennant not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Lebow is trying to stand back up but Tennant is controlling him
Tennant lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Lebow avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Tennant.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tennant working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tennant not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Tennant controlling the pace.
Tennant misses with a head shot. Lebow uses the momentum to regain guard.
Tennant trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Tennant prevents Lebow from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tennant lands a couple of elbows.
Lebow wants to stand and escape but Tennant is having none of it.
Tennant throws a big elbow that misses.
Tennant throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lebow works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Tennant with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Tennant prevents Lebow from getting back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Lebow has his feet on Tennant's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Lebow has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Tennant is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Lebow lands a nice leg kick that just misses Tennant's sensitive parts.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lebow tries to close the distance and clinch but Tennant swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lebow slips a jab from Tennant.
Some bone on bone action there as Tennant checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
We've been told by Tennant's head coaches at Brown House that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Tennant fails with a takedown attempt.
Lebow lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Tennant backs up against the cage.
Josh Lebow is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tennant throws a good cross that connects.


It looks like Josh Lebow has been cut.
Lebow wants to clinch
and Tennant counters with a left to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lebow misses with a head kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tennant.
Lebow scores with a hook.
Donk. Tennant catches Lebow right on the button with a cross.
Tennant is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.


Lebow is rocked!
Tennant cracks Lebow with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
