Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aiko Flaviano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Riordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flaviano tries a head kick but it misses.
Riordan looks to land a left hand but Flaviano moved out of range nicely.
Riordan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Flaviano throws a quick inside leg kick.

and Flaviano counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Riordan thinking.

Flaviano lands a nice hook to Riordan's body. Riordan takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Flaviano rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Riordan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Flaviano gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Riordan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Flaviano has momentary wrist control but Riordan slips an elbow through the middle.
Riordan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Flaviano works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Riordan gets to his feet and stands over Flaviano, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Flaviano felt that one! Riordan unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Flaviano from any more punishment!
