The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Begins, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Begins shoots in for a double leg but Kvention sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Oooooh!!! Begins has knocked Kvention down with a huge combo! Begins steps away and waves a wobbly Kvention back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Frodo Begins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kvention shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Kvention looking to improve position, pressing down on Begins's thigh with his hand. Begins seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Kvention paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Kvention's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Begins picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
