Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John Auville!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Felipe Paraventi and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Master misses with a two punch combination.
Master misses with a takedown attempt - Auville sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Master shoots in and drives through. Auville sprawls well.

Auville takes the fight into the clinch.

Auville breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Auville keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Juji Master. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Master tries for a takedown but Auville sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Auville scores with a crisp jab that stopped Master in his tracks.

Auville feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Auville is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Master can't keep his opponent in guard - Auville advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Auville wants to lay and pray for a moment but Master keeps working.

Auville is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Master doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Auville.
Auville wants to control but Master is keeping him busy.
Master is pressing down on Auville's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Master manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Auville tries to reverse the position but Master maintains control.

Auville is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Master seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Auville is holding on tight.

Auville is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Auville looks like he's trying to stand up.

Master is trying to work for a kimura but Auville is defending well.

Master looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Auville is defending against the submission attempts here by Master.

Auville tries to kick Master off but Master keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Master wants to take a breather but Auville is having none of it.

Master is looking for a kimura but Auville is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Master to get the leverage.
Master passes the guard and advances to mount!

Master is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Auville can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Master forces the positional change into back control.

Auville won't enjoy being in this position. Master looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Auville is tapping - it's over boys! Master picks up the submission victory!
