Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Davi Lucas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucas with a nice cross.
Jason Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lucas cracks Jones with a good jab.
Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lucas tries to bum rush Jones with a series of wild strikes but Jones uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Jones moves in looking to clinch but Lucas pushes him off.
Lucas misses with a body shot.
Lucas throws an overhand right that lands on Jones's shoulder, as Jones tries to avoid the shot.
Jones throws out a powerful jab.

It looks like Davi Lucas has been cut.
Jones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jones on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Lucas misses with an uppercut. Jones saw that one coming.
Jones uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lucas.

Lucas throws a looping overhand right but Jones ducks down to avoid it.

Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lucas swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lucas misses with an uppercut. Jones saw that one coming.
Lucas lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Jones fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lucas throws a jab but it's blocked by Jones.
Jones takes one to the side of the head.
Lucas misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lucas misses with a left hand

and Jones counters with a nice right hand that sends Lucas toppling to the canvas! Lucas scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Jones finish him?!

Lucas is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jones lands a brutal uppercut that launches Lucas off his feet! Lucas tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
