Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roy Harper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Two Fish!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fish misses with a double jab.

Fish gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Harper drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Fish gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Fish manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fish can do anything to dispel that myth.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Harper is in close to Fish's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Harper stands and steps away. Fish gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Harper drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Harper is trying to get an arm triangle but Fish is defending well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Harper decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Fish changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Harper looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Fish taking a break here but Harper is having none of it and regains half guard.

Harper has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Fish is on him like a limpet, forcing Harper back against the cage.
Harper is looking to take this one to the mat.
Harper has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Fish after a bit of a struggle.

Harper has picked Fish up - he's going for a ride! Harper dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Harper is nestled in close to Fish, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Fish avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Harper.
Harper is trying to control. Fish wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Fish tries to kick Harper off but Harper keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Fish is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Harper scores with a couple of nice shots.
Fish should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Harper scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


A telegraphed takedown attempt from Harper is defended easily by Fish.
Fish scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Harper moves out of range of the body kick from Fish.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Harper.

Fish looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Harper is trying to stand up here but Fish is controlling him well.
Roy Harper overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Fish is looking to pass Harper's guard but actually Harper recovers to full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fish looking to sit in guard and control but Harper gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Harper loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Harper is fighting to break Fish's control of his arms but Fish is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Harper stands up and waves to Fish to follow him.

Fish closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Harper is pushing Fish's head away, looking to escape. Fish manages to hold on to the position though.
Fish avoids the strikes from the bottom by Harper.
Harper dodges the ground and pound from Fish.
Harper is trying to buck Fish off.
Fish wants to control but Harper is keeping him busy.
Fish tries to advance to mount but can't.
Harper is trying to control Fish's posture but Fish avoids it.

Harper manages to work his way to half guard, despite Fish's best efforts.
Fish is looking to advance position but Harper won't allow it.
Fish is looking to take a break and control but Harper is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Harper kicks Fish off and gets back to his feet.

Fish shoots in and bounces Harper off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Fish trying to control the position from guard on top but Harper is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Harper escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fish gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Roy Harper will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Fish pushes Harper away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Harper gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Harper is working Fish over with some ground and pound from side control.

Harper is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Fish looks calm but he's in trouble here. Harper gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Fish is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Harper lets go of the hold and Fish can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Roy Harper!
