Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Keiran Corkhill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ricky Corre!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Franklyn Lucas and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Corkhill closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Corre did well to prevent Corkhill getting side control.
Corre is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Corkhill is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Corre sees it coming and defends easily.
Corkhill trying to pass the guard but Corre defending well.
Corre moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Corkhill postures up.
Corkhill won't allow Corre to get back to his feet.
Corre keeping moving, preventing Corkhill from controlling successfully.

Corkhill is really struggling to control Corre but he's trying to hold on to the position.

We're going to have a standup here because Keiran Corkhill wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Corre gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Corkhill to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Corkhill is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Corre is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Corre has escaped and now he's on top!

Corre trying to control but Corkhill is working from the bottom.

Corkhill looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Corre is defending well. Corkhill quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Corre has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Corkhill celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Keiran Corkhill!
