PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harry Sax (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aganja Muamba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sax's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Somebody gonna get they ass kicked by: 36 Mafia. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muamba closes the distance and clinches up with Sax, looking for a takedown. Muamba pushes Sax against the ropes but Sax circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Muamba takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Sax moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Sax throws a nice inside leg kick.
Muamba tries for a takedown but Sax sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Sax has closed the distance and engaged Muamba in a clinch.
Sax is trying to break free.

Muamba gets control of Sax's arms and successfully pulls guard. Muamba will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Sax working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Sax wants to control from the top but Muamba keeps moving.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sax controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Sax's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Sax wants to stand but Muamba has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Sax trying to control but Muamba is working from the bottom.

Muamba working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sax doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sax manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Muamba is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Sax frees his head nicely. Oh but Muamba has switched to an armbar! Sax is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
