Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jonatan Jose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edgar Kolyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Jose.
Jose fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kolyan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kolyan misses with the combination.
Jose definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
A head kick misses from Kolyan.
Kolyan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A punch combination from Kolyan misses.
Jose tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kolyan swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Kolyan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kolyan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jose moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jose fails with the takedown.
Kolyan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Kolyan throws a series of punches but Jose avoids them all with ease.
Jose closes the distance and clinches up with Kolyan, looking for a takedown. Jose pushes Kolyan against the cage but Kolyan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jose avoids the head kick by Kolyan.
Kolyan throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Jose counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jose lands a nice short elbow.
Kolyan pushes Jose off but Jose dives into side control.
Kolyan looks winded!
Jose is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Kolyan will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Jose has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jose lands an elbow.

Jose works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

You can see the frustration on Kolyan's face as Jose controls the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jose has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Kolyan is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Jose yanks on the arm and Kolyan is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Jose.
