Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between David Judah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Patton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David Judah had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, David Judah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rick Patton!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Daniel Franklin and Bart Greer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Judah takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Patton misses with a hook. Judah ducked under it nicely.
Patton lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Patton moves away from the strike by Judah.
Patton misses with a straight left.
Judah fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Patton lands a lovely overhand right.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Patton jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Judah is rocked!
Judah definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Judah misses with an uppercut. Patton saw that one coming.
Patton has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Patton misses the jab.
Patton ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Judah moves away.
Judah throws a hook but Patton avoids it easily.
Judah throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Patton.

Judah is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Patton, as that shot connected.
Oh Judah is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Patton closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Patton lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Judah jumps guard but Patton stands there with Judah around his waist. Judah gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Patton lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Patton pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Patton keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Judah.
Judah seems to have got his legs back now.
Patton throws a jab when Judah was well out of range.
Judah dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

and Judah counters with a two punch combo.
Patton takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Judah connects with the punch.
Patton drops his hands momentarily and Judah takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Judah jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Patton takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Judah dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Judah misses with a hook. Patton ducked under it nicely.

Judah throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Patton throws a hook but Judah avoids it easily.
Judah throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Patton throws a looping overhand right but Judah ducks down to avoid it.

Patton looks to land a combination. Judah sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Patton lands a jab to the head.
Patton takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Patton throws a hook to the side of Judah's head but Judah sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Patton throws the left hand but Judah avoids the punch easily.
Judah slips under a jab from Patton.
Patton uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Judah.
Judah moves out of range as Patton strikes.
Patton misses with a straight right.
Judah lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Patton circles away quickly and effectively.
Rick Patton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Patton lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Judah jabs Patton right on the nose. Patton blinks but takes it well.

Judah dives in for a single leg takedown but Patton sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Judah. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Patton is leaning against Judah and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Patton throws a head punch that misses.
Patton lands with a left to the head.
Judah tries to pull guard but Patton won't allow it.

Patton lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Patton lands a hook that snaps the head of Judah backwards.
Judah is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Judah tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Judah fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Patton lands with a short shot to the head.

Patton escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Judah misses with a takedown
and Patton counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Judah off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Patton follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Judah was out before he hit the floor.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Rick Patton!
