And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Pops Mcgee!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, William Gold and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Short throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mcgee.
Mcgee throws a series of punches but Short avoids them all with ease.
Mcgee lands a nice hook to Short's body. Short takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Oooooh!!! Mcgee has knocked Short down with a huge combo! Mcgee steps away and waves a wobbly Short back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Short is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Mcgee has cracked Short with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Mcgee lands another huge swinging hook and Short tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Short, before Mcgee can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Pops Mcgee!
A relieved looking Pops Mcgee thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
