Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steven Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Braite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Wu-Tang Clan - Bring Da Ruckus. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Braite looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Lee!
Lee tries to hold on but Braite pushes him away.
Braite wants to control the pace but Lee is squirming around nicely.
Braite blocks Lee's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Braite tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Braite really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Braite takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Braite jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Lee manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Lee looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Braite is fending him off so far but Lee persists. Nope, Braite circles away and we're back to standing.
Lee lands with a shot to the body.
Braite moves out of range as Lee throws a body kick.
Braite moves out of range of the strikes.
Lee slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Victor Braite seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lee displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Braite throws out the jab.

Braite lands a nice knee to the body.
Lee has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Braite is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Lee drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Braite takes a swing at Lee's ribcage but misses.
Lee connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Braite throws out a loose jab but Lee uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lee takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Braite misses with an uppercut.
Braite takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Lee throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Lee shoots in looking for a takedown. Braite tries to sprawl out of it but Lee keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Braite manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Horrible takedown by Lee or perhaps it was just good defense by Braite which made him look bad.
Lee shoots in for a double leg but Braite sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Lee closes the distance and clinches up with Braite, looking for a takedown. Lee pushes Braite against the cage but Braite circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Lee tries to land a front kick but Braite steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Lee.

Lee changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Braite looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Lee just content to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Braite is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Lee is controlling him well.

Lee has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Braite can do anything to dispel that myth.

Braite misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Lee has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Lee there as he acknowledges the shot.
Braite ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lee moves away.
Braite shoots in but Lee avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Braite's waist but Braite gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lee off to one side.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
