Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tommaso Marei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benji Hidori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hidori comes into a darkened arena with his song building. allejandro kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Peter Branson and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marei pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Marei throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hidori.
Marei misses with an uppercut. Hidori saw that one coming.
Marei throws an overhand right that lands on Hidori's shoulder, as Hidori tries to avoid the shot.
Marei connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Hidori bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Marei throws a series of punches but Hidori moves out of range.
Hidori rushes Marei and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Hidori is struggling to control the position.
Hidori looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Marei fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Hidori leaning his opponent against the cage.
Marei tries to pull guard but Hidori won't allow it.
Hidori pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hidori shoots in and bounces Marei off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Hidori stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Marei swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Marei pushes a forearm under Hidori's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Hidori is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Tommaso Marei!
Benji Hidori was interviewed post fight and said 'I have dishonored myself and my fans.'.
