The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill misses with a body kick.
Hill tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hikaru bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hill's head backwards.
Hill tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hikaru paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hikaru listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Hikaru just misses with a punch to the body.
Hikaru walks into a left hand.
Hikaru fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hill manages to avoid it.
Hill lands a jab to the nose.
Hikaru scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Hikaru lands with a shot to the body.
Hill steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hikaru.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hikaru misses with a body shot.
Hikaru avoids the head kick by Hill.
Hill lands a two punch combo.
Hill tries to bum rush Hikaru with a series of wild strikes but Hikaru uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hill lands a jab.
Hikaru slips a jab from Hill.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hikaru keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hill.
Hill throws a lazy right hand but Hikaru sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hill ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hikaru moves away.
Hikaru scores with a jab.
Hill lands a leg kick that knocks Hikaru off balance momentarily.
Hill fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hikaru manages to avoid it.
Hikaru connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hill momentarily.
Hill is rocked!
Hikaru manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hill on his heels. He'll look to pass Hill's guard now, I'm sure.
Hill is still in real trouble! Can Hikaru finish him?
Hikaru gets to his feet and stands over Hill, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Hill felt that one! Hikaru unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Hill from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Akisame Hikaru!

Akisame Hikaru really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Damnfield clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
