Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kendall Glover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richie Simmions (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Richie Simmions will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Simmions clinches with his opponent.

Glover tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Simmions paws at him with a jab and circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Glover looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Richie Simmions seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Glover feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Simmions stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Glover swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Glover closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Simmions. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Simmions jumps guard but Glover turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Glover is pressed up against the cage. Simmions has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Glover down to the mat. Glover avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Simmions takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

I would just about give that final round to Richie Simmions.
