Alaga has chosen shaban shaulich as his entrance music. Gatti has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alaga throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gatti .
Alaga pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gatti shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Alaga counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Arturo Gatti has been cut.
A combination from Alaga does no damage.

Alaga throws a left that rocks Gatti and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Alaga dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Gatti regain composure!

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Alaga has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Oh Gatti is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Alaga goes for a small jab and connects. Now Alaga goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Gatti stumbles back but Alaga runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Gatti to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Gatti will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
