The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jomo's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Pichushkin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jomo scrambles back to his feet.
Pichushkin scores with a decent looking hook.
Pichushkin scores with a shot to the body.
Jomo shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Pichushkin digs a good hook to Jomo's body.
Jomo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Pichushkin throws a good cross that connects.

and Jomo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Pichushkin changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Alexander Pichushkin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pichushkin throws a shot from downtown. Jomo moves away and avoids it.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Jomo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Pichushkin misses with a jab, cross combination.
Pichushkin lands a nice hook to Jomo's body. Jomo takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Jomo is rocked!
Jomo switches off momentarily and Pichushkin cracks him with a monster right hand! Jomo topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Pichushkin dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Pichushkin!
