The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marko uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Salcedo.
Salcedo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jose Salcedo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marko will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Marko really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Salcedo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

It looks like Jose Salcedo has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That was a close round but I would say that Cain Marko will probably get the nod.
