The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mitchell drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mitchell jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Mitchell stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gonzalez swivels though and keeps the full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Mitchell lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Gonzalez has left one of his arms exposed and Mitchell doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Gonzalez screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
