The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcgowan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Mcgowan fails in his attempt to clinch.
Wells shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mcgowan's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Wells not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Mcgowan is looking to sweep but instead, Wells has passed into half guard.
Wells seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Mcgowan is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
