Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Blue Jin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Longer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Blue Jin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bill Longer!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Longer shoots in and drives through. Jin sprawls well.
Jin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Longer shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Longer controlling the action here.
Jin trying to control here.
Longer content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Longer wants to free his trapped foot but Jin is holding on for dear life with his legs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Longer prevents Jin from improving his position.
Longer controlling the action here.
Jin moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Longer is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Bill Longer.

Longer manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jin on his heels. He'll look to pass Jin's guard now, I'm sure.
Longer content to stall in guard here.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Bill Longer was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Jin dives in for a single leg takedown but Longer sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Longer has Jin pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Longer pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Jin tumbling to the mat - Longer dives into Jin's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jin wants to get back to his feet but Longer is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Longer wants to pass the guard but Jin is keeping the position.
Longer sitting in guard here, content to control.

Jin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Longer defends it easily.
Longer's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Jin is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Longer pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jin is keeping the position for now.
Longer is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Longer drives through with a takedown into guard.

Longer advances position into side control!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Longer takes a little break here. Jin wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
You can see the frustration on Jin's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Excellent takedown into side control there by Longer.
Jin being controlled for a moment.
Longer's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jin is looking for a sweep.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Longer content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Jin is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Longer has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Jin is letting Longer control him for a moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Bill Longer was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Longer stuffs the takedown attempt from Jin. Jin gets slowly back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Longer counters by moving into the clinch.

Longer wants the takedown. Jin is fighting it off but Longer persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Jin's guard against the cage.
Longer controls from within his opponent's guard.
Jin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Longer is one step ahead there.
Longer showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Bill Longer hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Longer is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jin sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Longer changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Jin seems a little lost for a moment, as Longer dominates the positioning.
Jin is looking to reverse the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Longer controlling the position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Bill Longer has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Longer closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jin to the mat! Jin manages to get full guard.
Longer sitting in guard, not really doing much.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Let's hope that Longer has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Jin is trying to keep Longer in close.
Longer sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jin's guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Well, if Longer is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Jin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bill Longer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!



Longer drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee asks Longer politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Longer prefers to stall for the moment though.
Jin is looking to reverse the position.
Jin is letting Longer control him for a moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Bill Longer.

Longer shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jin napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Longer working away.
Jin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Longer moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Bill Longer.

Longer is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jin's half guard.
Longer takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Bill Longer wasn't active enough on the ground.

Jin is letting Longer control him for a moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Bill Longer.

Longer shoots in and gets a takedown into Jin's guard.
Longer stays in close to Jin's body and controls the position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that's the end of the fight!
Bill Longer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Longer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
