Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Raoul De Muerta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kain Escobar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Muerta comes to the cage accompanied by The Crystal Method. Kain Escobar has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raoul De Muerta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kain Escobar!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Muerta turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
A jab lands there for De Muerta.

It looks like Kain Escobar has been cut.
Escobar looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Escobar throws the left hand but De Muerta avoids the punch easily.
De Muerta throws a push kick but Escobar slaps the foot to one side.
De Muerta misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Escobar misses with a looping right.
Escobar takes one on the chin but seems OK.
De Muerta moves out of range as Escobar strikes.
A big left from Escobar misses.
De Muerta defending well as Escobar loads up on a big left hand.
An inside leg kick lands from De Muerta.
Raoul De Muerta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Escobar has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from De Muerta finds it's way round the side to connect with Escobar's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
De Muerta lands a nice leg kick that just misses Escobar's sensitive parts.
De Muerta goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
De Muerta shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Escobar takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Escobar throws a big shot that misses.
De Muerta slips under a jab.
De Muerta bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
De Muerta steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Escobar.
Escobar throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Escobar misses with a left hand
and De Muerta connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Escobar misses with a looping right.
Escobar looks to land a right hand but De Muerta moved out of range.
We've been hearing reports that De Muerta has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
De Muerta pushes Escobar away with a front kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Oooooh!!! De Muerta has knocked Escobar down with a huge combo! De Muerta steps away and waves a wobbly Escobar back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Escobar is rocked!

That has opened up Kain Escobar's cut even more.
Escobar takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Escobar might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Escobar looks winded!

De Muerta feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Escobar sprawling to the canvas! Escobar rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can De Muerta finish him?!
Escobar is still on wobbly legs! Can De Muerta finish him?

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Escobar is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. De Muerta doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Escobar crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Escobar's bad books for that mishap!
