Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diego Strecha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nautica Thorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Strecha's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, God's Gonna Cut You Down. Nautica Thorn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorn takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Strecha looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Thorn should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Thorn throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Thorn shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Strecha as he jumps to the side.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Thorn has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Strecha will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Thorn closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Strecha's guard.

Strecha cracks Thorn with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Strecha lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Thorn has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Thorn and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Thorn shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Thorn showed some decent athleticism there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Strecha is looking to improve his position.

Thorn is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Strecha is just riding it out for now. Thorn eventually gives up the hold.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Thorn wants to work for an arm triangle but Strecha is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
