Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clark Dickson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richie Simmions (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simmions is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dickson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Dickson lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Simmions down.
Dickson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Dickson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Simmions with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Simmions decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Simmions tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dickson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Simmions shoots for a double leg takedown but Dickson sprawls well. He's pushed Simmions's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Simmions stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dickson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Simmions is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Dickson jumps into side control!

Dickson is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Simmions is trying to escape and Dickson transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Simmions is forced to tap! Nice work there by Dickson! Very nice indeed!
