Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Justin Reilly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bishop Huff!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Huff closes the distance and clinches.
Reilly letting Huff take a breather here.
Reilly has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Huff avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Huff wants to break the clinch but can't.
Huff tries to break the clinch but Reilly is controlling the position.
Reilly drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Reilly keeps control of Huff as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Reilly keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Huff's efforts to push away.
Reilly really is a fat lump.
Huff is trying to push Reilly away but Reilly has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Reilly tries to pull guard but Huff holds him up against the cage and eventually Reilly drops back down to his feet.

Reilly wants a takedown but no success here.

Huff has clasped his hands together around Reilly's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Huff throws a strike aimed at the side of Reilly's head but Reilly avoids it well.
Huff throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Huff decides to stand up, so the ref orders Reilly to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Huff on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Huff tries to close the distance and clinch up but Reilly swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Huff feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Huff has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Huff shoots in and bounces Reilly off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Justin Reilly is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Reilly tries a head kick but it misses.

Huff fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Reilly to the ground. Huff is now in Reilly's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Huff is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Huff looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Huff is trying to work for a kimura but Reilly is defending well.
Huff looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Still in half guard, Huff seems content to control.
Bishop Huff has got the better of the ground game so far.
Huff thows a huge punch but Reilly dodges it nicely.

The fight stays on the outside here - Huff looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Huff throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Huff is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Huff connects with a good right hand that stumbles Reilly. Reilly circles away out of range and recomposes himself.


It looks like Justin Reilly has been cut.

Huff bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Huff decides to stand back up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Huff looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Reilly instigates a clinch.
Reilly goes for a takedown attempt but Huff pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Bishop Huff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reilly misses with a wild body shot.

Huff throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Reilly tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Huff is in Reilly's guard.

Huff gets to his feet. Reilly looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Huff has taken the fight to the clinch.

Huff jumps guard.

Huff is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Huff pulls Reilly into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Huff lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Reilly!
Reilly wants to hold on but Huff pushes him away.

Bishop Huff showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Reilly swats away the attempt to clinch by Huff.
Huff is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Huff closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Reilly to the mat! Reilly manages to get full guard.
Reilly looking for a sweep. Not yet Reilly, not yet.
Reilly is trying to keep Huff in close.
Huff trying to control the position from guard on top but Reilly is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Huff sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Reilly's guard.

Reilly looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Huff seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Reilly does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Huff is taking a breather. Reilly says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Bishop Huff has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Reilly misses with a body shot.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Huff throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Reilly was covering up waiting for the punch and Huff finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Huff controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Huff trying to control but Reilly is working from the bottom.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Huff seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Bishop Huff hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Reilly gets caught flat footed, as Huff shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Huff is pushing down on Reilly's leg trying to pass to half guard. Reilly is fighting to maintain full guard but Huff has managed to sneak the leg through.
Huff uses his free foot to push down on Reilly's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Reilly.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Huff goes for an armbar but Reilly turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Reilly.
Reilly throws an elbow that misses. Huff uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Reilly's guard. Nice move by Huff!
Huff wants to pass the guard but Reilly is keeping the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Reilly has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Huff can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

And that's the end of the fight!
Bishop Huff comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Huff has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
