Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Klaus Greger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Savo Tieros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tieros has chosen All Over You-Live as his entrance music. Savo Tieros is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Klaus Greger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Savo Tieros!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tieros pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Greger back to the cage. Tieros follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Greger throws a head kick but Tieros moves out of range.
Klaus Greger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tieros drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Greger tries to improve position but can't.
Tieros throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Sloppy strikes there by Tieros.
Tieros tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tieros has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Tieros tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Tieros looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Greger is avoiding damage well.
Greger wants to get back to his feet.
Tieros wants to lay and pray for a moment but Greger keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We've been hearing good reports from Greger's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Tieros trying to control the action but Greger is working from the bottom.
Tieros is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Greger is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Tieros working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Tieros has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Tieros unloads with some shots from mount but Greger bucks and avoids them well.
Tieros throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Tieros goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Greger is on top in guard.

Tieros has a closed guard, preventing Greger from standing up.
Tieros working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Greger doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Tieros is tightening it up a little... Greger has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Greger reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Greger taps out! Nice BJJ there by Tieros!
