The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice combination there by Scuderi.
Pierluigi Scuderi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Disgracie shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Disgracie showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Disgracie throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Disgracie is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Scuderi looks like he's trying to stand up.

Scuderi tries to kick Disgracie off but Disgracie keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Disgracie uses his free foot to push down on Scuderi's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Scuderi.

Scuderi tries to lock up and control but Disgracie gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Disgracie postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Scuderi looks a forlorn figure.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Disgracie lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Scuderi hang on?

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Disgracie cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Disgracie pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Disgracie drops a big elbow. That's hurt Scuderi! More shots from Disgracie and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
