Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Amos Guerra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergei Vyaschelov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sergei Vyaschelov will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Amos Guerra!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sergei Vyaschelov!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shirou Masuda and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vyaschelov thows a leg kick but Guerra checks it
and Guerra counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Vyaschelov fails to land with a series of punches.

Vyaschelov rushes Guerra and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Guerra tries to pull guard but Vyaschelov holds him up against the cage and eventually Guerra drops back down to his feet.

Vyaschelov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Guerra fails with an attempt to clinch.

Vyaschelov drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Vyaschelov is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Guerra really is a fat lump.
Vyaschelov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Guerra swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Vyaschelov trying to stand up but can't free himself from Guerra's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Vyaschelov postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Guerra avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Vyaschelov is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Vyaschelov wants to stand but Guerra has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Vyaschelov missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Vyaschelov throws a big right hand that misses.
Vyaschelov must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Guerra looking to hit a scissor sweep but Vyaschelov is one step ahead there.
Vyaschelov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Guerra. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Guerra wants to stand up but Vyaschelov is controlling him.
Guerra keeping full guard, as Vyaschelov tries to pass.

Guerra is looking for a triangle here but Vyaschelov uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Vyaschelov is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Guerra knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Vyaschelov wants to stand but Guerra has his arm trapped.

Vyaschelov working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Guerra tries to bench press Vyaschelov off him but Vyaschelov keeps the position.
Vyaschelov is staying tight to Guerra's torso, preventing him from escaping.
You can see the frustration on Guerra's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The ground and pound from Vyaschelov seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Guerra pushes Vyaschelov away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Vyaschelov gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Guerra tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Vyaschelov wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Guerra trying his best to control but Vyaschelov has mounted him.
Vyaschelov misses with a head shot.
Vyaschelov punishing his opponent with strikes.
Vyaschelov tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Vyaschelov's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Vyaschelov! Guerra is hurt baaadly! Vyaschelov is firing away with more strikes - Guerra is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sergei Vyaschelov!
