Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Titus Cochran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johno Snijckers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johno Snijckers will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Titus Cochran!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johno Snijckers!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snijckers moves to clinch but Cochran breaks away

and Cochran counters by clinching up.

Cochran jumps into guard, dragging Snijckers to the mat.
Cochran wants to sweep here but Snijckers controlling him for the moment.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Cochran fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Snijckers manages to avoid it.
Snijckers tried to score with a low kick but Cochran checks it.
Snijckers has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Cochran is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Snijckers tries to close the distance and clinch but Cochran swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Snijckers counters with a solid body kick.

and Cochran counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Snijckers's guard now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cochran thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Cochran really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Snijckers wants to sweep here but Cochran controlling him for the moment.
Cochran slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Snijckers controls Cochran momentarily but Cochran frees himself.
Cochran's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

We're going to have a standup here because Titus Cochran wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Snijckers avoids the body shot from Cochran.
Cochran throws a head kick that misses.
Cochran just misses with a punch to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Snijckers tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Cochran counters with a single leg into guard. Snijckers didn't expect that.
Cochran seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Cochran postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Cochran will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Cochran avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Cochran is looking to clinch but Snijckers is avoiding it.

Cochran fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Snijckers, pushing him back against the cage.

and Cochran holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Cochran jumps guard but Snijckers stands there with Cochran around his waist. Cochran gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Snijckers goes for a takedown attempt but Cochran pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Cochran moves into range and clinches up with Snijckers.
Snijckers is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Cochran is defending well for now.
Cochran jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Snijckers walks away with a smile on his face. Cochran gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Cochran swats away the attempt to clinch by Snijckers.

and Cochran counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Snijckers shoots in looking for a takedown. Cochran tries to sprawl out of it but Snijckers keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cochran manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Snijckers is breathing heavily.

Snijckers closes the distance and pushes Cochran back into the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Snijckers fails to pull guard.
Titus Cochran has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johno Snijckers.

Cochran jumps guard.

Cochran wants to get back to his feet but Snijckers is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Cochran is looking to stand up but Snijckers isn't so interested in that idea.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Cochran manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Snijckers manages to get himself to full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Cochran closes the distance and pushes Snijckers back into the cage.

Snijckers's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Cochran throws a series of punches but Snijckers avoids them all with ease.
Cochran tries a head kick but it misses.

Titus Cochran dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!



Cochran takes the fight into the clinch.

Cochran pulls guard effortlessly.

Cochran is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Snijckers frees his head nicely. Oh but Cochran has switched to an armbar! Snijckers is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Armbar). Titus Cochran!
In defeat, Johno Snijckers stepped up to the mic, saying 'im sorry mom'.
