Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Quentin Webb!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Robb Wells!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Webb shoots for a takedown but Wells saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Webb shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wells as he jumps to the side.

Wells scores with a takedown into Webb's guard.
Webb being controlled here, momentarily.
Wells trying to control the position from guard on top but Webb is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Wells is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Wells sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Webb's guard.
Webb has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wells is working away from the top position though.

Wells looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Wells is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Webb sees it coming and defends easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Webb wants to control the action here but instead Wells manages to pass to full mount!

Wells looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Webb really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Wells tries to control but Webb wriggling away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Webb holds on to Wells around his waist, trying desperately to prevent any attacks.
Webb wants to control but Wells is having none of it.
Wells controlling the position easily from mount.

Wells looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Wells has hold of Webb's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Webb manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Webb bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Wells is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Webb frees his head nicely. Oh but Wells has switched to an armbar! Webb is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
