Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Todd Reles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Christian Bender!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reles swinging wildly here.
Reles lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Reles throws a combination. Bender tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Reles pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Bender slips under a jab from Reles.
Bender steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Reles.
Reles throws a series of punches but Bender moves out of range.
Reles connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Todd Reles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reles lands a nice looking body shot.
Reles throws a looping overhand right but Bender ducks down to avoid it.
Reles swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bender steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Reles.
Bender showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Reles.
Reles throws a nice looking combination but Bender bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bender shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Reles sprawls well. Reles wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bender gets slowly back to his feet.
Bender slips under a jab from Reles.
Reles tries to bum rush Bender with a series of wild strikes but Bender uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Reles swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Reles missing with a left hand there. Bender was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Bender shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Reles but Reles pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Reles misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bender.
Reles slaps away a takedown attempt from Bender, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Todd Reles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Christian Bender.
Bender moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bender is trying hard to land a takedown here. Reles sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Bender tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Reles defends well and Bender ends up having to push Reles into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Bender manages to pull guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Reles wants to stand but Bender has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Bender wants to stand and escape but Reles is having none of it.
Reles has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bender is proving hard to escape from.

Todd Reles has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Bender shoots in and bounces Reles off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Bender decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Reles, up you get!
Reles slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Nice body punch from Reles.
Reles scores with a jab to the jaw.
Bender is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bender.
Reles tests Bender's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Reles works over Bender's head and body with a nice combination.
Reles looks to land a left hand but Bender moved out of range nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Reles is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bender.
The crowd cheers as Reles lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bender doesn't seem phased though.
Bender drops his hands momentarily and Reles takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Reles scores with a jab.


Bender is rocked!
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Reles moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Bender! Reles continues to tee off on Bender, landing with a left and a right! Reles connects with a right hand that leaves Bender sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Reles!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Todd Reles!
