PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tracy Flores (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ox Raman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raman comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Who let the dogs out kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Ox Raman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Raman bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Flores really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Flores is looking for a sweep.
Flores is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Flores blocking the ground and pound attempt from Raman.
Flores tries to kick Raman off but Raman keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Horrible takedown by Flores or perhaps it was just good defense by Raman which made him look bad.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Raman keeps control of the position easily here as Flores tries to buck him off.
Flores wants to control his opponent's hands but Raman gets his hands free.
Raman punches the canvas rather than the man.

Ox Raman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Flores shoots in for a takedown but Raman shows good takedown defense.

Raman gets in close and instigates a clinch.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tracy Flores.
Well Raman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ox Raman decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
