Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alexander Emelianenko has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dux throws a series of punches but Emelianenko avoids them all with ease.
Dux jabs Emelianenko to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Dux lands a two punch combo.
Emelianenko tries for a takedown but Dux circles away easily

and Dux counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Dux wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dux prevents Emelianenko from improving his position.
Dux wants to stand but Emelianenko has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Emelianenko had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dux defends it easily.

Dux has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Emelianenko is proving hard to escape from.

Dux really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Emelianenko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Dux is looking to stand up but Emelianenko won't let him.

Emelianenko bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dux's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
